Big Deals Wholesale was created by Bob & Pat Nelson around the year 2000. Bob had been serving retail and wholesale customers for more than 40 years. As a retailer, he learned how difficult it could be to purchase inventory at the right price and in manageable quantities. He wanted to see independent retailers thrive in today’s competitive marketplace, and his wholesale distribution site helped them succeed.
In August of 2017, Bob & Pat sold Big Deals Wholesale to one of their own customers, John Lottis & Bob Davis. Both John & Bob, brothers-in-law & business partners, have extensive backgrounds in the retail & wholesale industries.
Over the past 10 years, John and Bob along with their wives, have opened, operated and grown four large retail stores throughout the Willamette Valley of Oregon. The chain of stores, Wheeler Dealer Liquidation, carries everything from tools, housewares, apparel, groceries, and everything in between. When Bob Nelson presented the opportunity to purchase Big Deals Wholesale, there was no hesitation that the company would fit well with their current business model.
John and Bob are eager to grow Big Deals Wholesale into a year-round wholesale distributor for independent retailers at the lowest possible price, without the requirements of minimum orders.
In an effort to reduce waste, orders may be shipped in repurposed boxes. We will also combine packaging on orders of soft-goods and sleds by packing soft-goods within the sled boxes. This also helps reduce overall shipping costs for our customers.
